Hey Ken,

Thanks for reading. As a rule of thumb, I would keep any add-ons/plugins deactivated while you’re not using them. I haven’t done a full analysis of their effect on load times, but it should be minimal. Some add-ons like the scheduling don’t modify the display of the slider on the site, so they may load an extra file or two in the admin but won’t affect the speed for visitors. Other add-ons like the lightbox change the display and functionality of the sliders, so it’s safe to assume they load an additional CSS and Javascript file. This will likely have a small impact on load times since most sites are making dozens of similar requests already.
