In reply to James Early. Not sure why you'd get an error message as the link I shared leads to a perfectly valid RSS feed. Could be a bug with Aweber if that's where you're seeing the error message. The podcast feed may not work yet because there are 0 entries as of now.

Hi James,

The syntax for your URLs isn’t quite right. The word “category” itself needs to be included too. This URL works for your blog category feed: https://thebiblespeakstoyou.com/category/blog/feed/

In reply to Sven. It depends on how the posts have been restricted. This is not a core WordPress feature so you should check with the plugin being used to restrict the posts.

If I have a blog and a podcast on my WordPress site and they each have their own category of “blog” and “podcast,” How do I get different feeds for those two pages? I tried http://www.thebiblespeakstoyou.com/blog/feed and http://www.thebiblespeakstoyou.com/podcast/feed, but got a message: “The XML file KRkseB.RSS cannot be opened because there is no avabilable view (XSLT). Unidentified error. Location: line 7, column: 2”

I also tried the above with “/category” added after blog and podcast as in your example but got the same error message.

I need this so my AWeber subscription lists don’t get mixed up and people get something they didn’t sign up for. I don’t want blog readers to get the post for the podcast show-notes page when I post it. And I don’t want the podcast subscribers to get my blog posts when I post the show-notes page.

Hi! Our Posts in the Blog are restricted to read by logged in users. is there a way to give them a rss feed too? (can i add the information somewhere in the url?)

When you visit the RSS feed, you’re going to see an XML file which may look like a bunch of gibberish. The RSS feed itself is not meant to be viewed directly by people – that’s what your site’s blog page is for. Rather, the RSS feed is a formatted XML file that other software monitors to know if you’ve published a new post. The structure of the file allows feed readers to extract the title and post excerpts and display them how they want.

Thank you for your post. I noticed recently that our feed link which was already redirected to feedburner is not working. We are getting ‘account suspended’ message and am not sure how we got here. I have tried all methods of resolving the error but I can’t figure out how

Sorry. Feeling very dense. I was with you until the , you get a feed that looks like this. I have all 12 pages of it. Where is the RSS URL on this? Or alternatively what am I supposed to do with the 12 pages of stuff? Asked by for the very basic user?

In the General settings menu, get the WordPress URL and add “/feed/” after it. If WP is not installed in the root directory, this moves the feed’s location. If that’s not the issue, could you post the error the validator provides?
